Van Clark Freeman's Obituary
Van Clark Freeman (January 16th, 1954 – April 4th, 2024)
Van was born in Lubbock, Texas in 1954 to Wilma Privett-Freeman and Wayland Freeman and later loved by his stepfather Joe Privitt. Van is survived by his two children, Son Blake Freeman, Daughter Brittney Freeman, daughter-in-love Megan Freeman, Grandchildren Cash Freeman and Banks Freeman and sisters Dona Quisenbury and Paula Quisenbury.
Van’s legacy of honor and love continues to live on through his generation and the lives of so many that he has impacted in such a mighty way, just by being the incredible and genuine man that he stood to be. A man so well loved by anyone who met him just by being his authentic, candidly funny and charismatic self that would always put others first and effortlessly make you laugh or at least brighten your day.
Van was known for his charismatic personality, dedication, commitment and relentless work ethic, his incredible sense of humor, loyalty and honor to those he dedicated his love and time to. He went to college at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Tx where he began his career as a custom home builder and later starting his own custom home building company. Van knew how to build foundations and build them well, not only in career but in the lives of others. He truly did build foundations on rock and was a rock for those around him who knew and loved him. He was a man that you could always count on, who would do whatever he could and was needed to help others, he made sure everything that he did was done right in work and life and stood true to the honor of his word.
He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed the company of others as they did his. He was the life of wherever he went and an incredible father and grandfather or “Pops” whose legacy will forever be cherished and continue to go forward in so many ways. Van truly lived out the biblical example of being a fisher or men and building his foundation on rock, providing a rock solid legacy for those he loved and knew him to continue to build on. He will forever be remembered and loved for the unique and incredible man that he is and the incredible legacy he has established and continues to live on.
