Barry Stocks
Veda Faye Anderson was my mother-in-law from 1975 until 2002 when her youngest daughter, Janet Lisa Anderson Stocks and I divorced. She was truly a very loving and caring person for all the years I knew her. Although we didn't always see eye-to-eye and we had our differences during my relationship with her, I did love and admire her as my mother-in-law (she actually told me when Lisa and I were first married that she preferred for me to think of her as my "friend" rather than my mother-in-law). Seems like just yesterday when we would sit and talk for hours at her kitchen table about a variety of topics. I wasn't aware of her passing at the time it happened but unfortunately I was in a position at that time that it was impossible for me to attend her funeral and even if I had been I did not know if I would have been welcomed there. Her daughter, Lisa, and I remained friends until her own passing in 2013. May God bless her soul and may she rest in peace. With Love, Barry S.
