Venetia Vanburen's Obituary
Venetia "V" Van Buren was called to the fields of Valhalla on Friday November 27 2020, after 61 long years of battling injustice across the universe.
She walked among the mortals working as an Accountant for Atmos Energy for over 35 years, and was an avid fan of queso and margaritas. She played the trumpet and was a certified scuba diver and notary public.
Venetia left behind 2 cats she loves and 1 cat she tolerates, plus her 4 beloved dogs and her husband, Jack.
Her favorite movie was Tropic Thunder, and she was a huge fan of Dwight Yoakam and David Bowie.
Venetia was a kind and beautiful person, and will be dearly dearly missed.
The one thing she would tell everyone if she were here right now, as she often did: "The struggle is real."
She dreamed of retiring in Colorado, naming it New Asgard, and as such her ashes will be scattered in the mountains there.
A Zoom online memorial will be held December 19 2020, please contact Jack for information - 214-364-1893
