What a surprise when Venita my Mesquite neighbor figured out she knew me from my childhood. I am Roy & Elizabeth Bullard's daughter and lived across Town Park from you for years. Sorry for your loss and your family is in my prayers. Shan Thorne Fincher

You were one of my favorite aunt's and I will miss you. I always enjoyed coming to your house to visit. Thank you for the memories.
I Love You Aunt Venita! We will cherish your memory and celebrate your beautiful life until we are reunited with you in Heaven! With Love, Jeff, Keiko, Melody, & Emily Mott When Tomorrow Starts Without Me: When tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not here to see. If the sun should rise and find your eyes filled with tears for me. I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today. While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you. And each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me, too. But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand. That Jesus came and called my name And took me by the hand. And said my place was ready in heaven far above. And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart. For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.
May god bless your family with strength. Your bright smile and welcoming heart will be missed. I will never forget how you welcomed me into your family the first time I met you. It meant so much to me. I was so unsure and you were so kind to me, making me feel as though I had always been a part of the family. We are truly saddened by your loss, but I know that heaven is a little brighter because you're in it. Rest in peace.
I was born and raised in Daingerfield. In fact, I was named after Venita Finley and had often wondered where she lived. I also graduated from high school with Johneice. Small world. The Finley family were very dear friends of my mom and dad, Erbie and Doris Thomas who lived and taught school in Daingerfield. I will keep you in my prayers. Venita Thomas Smith
We all love her so much
