Vera Emma Fletcher's Obituary
Vera Emma Morgan Williams Fletcher, born December 3, 1921 in Casa, Arkansas to Suda Irene and William Simpson Morgan, died December 26, 2008 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. She was preceded in death by her husbands Curtis J. Williams who died in 1943, and Trois Lee Fletcher who died in 1998, and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by one sister, Wanda Sue Rowland of Little Rock, AR; two sons, Curtis Williams and wife Virginia, of Shenandoah, TX, and Larry Williams and wife Kim of Van Alstyne, TX; two daughters, Evelyn Alford and husband Richard, of Garland, TX, and Brenda Webb and husband Jim, of Frisco, TX; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Gary and Mike Alford, Aaron, Curtis, Jason and Allen Williams. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 29, 2008 at Restland’s Abbey Chapel with Pastor Bill Cathey and Reverend John Wade officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 28, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home.
