Vera Steiger's Obituary
STEIGER, VERA was born March 21, 1916 in Menlo, Kansas, and passed away August 2, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Steiger; daughter, Patricia Ann Leonard; and her great-granddaughters, Chelsey Kear and Amanda Cameron. Vera is survived by her son, Robert Steiger and his wife, Susan; six grandchidlren, Abby Domenech, Cathryn Belliveau, Gine Kear, Danny Kear, Sheila Cameron, and Robin Leonard; and two great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kreshenbrock Funeral Chapel, 745 S. Country Club Drive, Colby, Kansas. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Menlo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vera Steiger Memorial, c/o Administrator Walnut Place, 5515 Glen Lakes Drive, Dallas, Texas 75231.
