Verdene Masters Jennings died on July 14, 2019 at her home at Discovery Commons in Garland, TX. She was 89. She was born on October 9, 1929 in Mexia, TX. Verdene grew up in Jacksonville, TX, and married Robert Wheeler Jennings on February 28, 1945 in Longview, TX.She is survived by her children: Donald P. Jennings (Linda), Gary S. Jennings and David S. Jennings (Debbie); grandchildren Don Jennings (Stacey), John Standridge (Kristen), Candace Robert (Jeff), Dawn Endres (Howard), Craig Jennings, Paul Jennings, Misty Green, and Brandon Jennings; and great grandchildren Austin Jennings, Ashlyn Jennings, Evan Standridge, Caden Robert, Lauren Robert, Hailey Endres, Madison Endres, Nicholas Endres, Jake Endres, Alexis Jennings, Dustin Jennings, Chase Green, Gauge Jennings and Brodie Jennings. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry Masters and Jimmy Masters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Jennings, parents Pete and Lola Masters, brother Vernon Masters and sister Sharon Burke.
