GARZA, VICKIE YVONNE Born October 24, 1956 in Dallas, TX and passed away February 8, 2008 in Irving, TX. Vickie loved shopping, eating out and being with friends and family. Vickie was always there for her children and grandchildren. They always came first. She was the ‘2nd Mom’ to her grandchildren as well as grandmother. The only thing better than being her child was being a grandchild. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Francis Courson and brother, Gary Kim Courson. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Christy Mendez and husband, Paco; Nicole Rodriguez and husband, Jose and Melissa Garza; son, Jacob Garza; partner, Javier Arambula; father, William Courson, Sr.; grandchildren, Alec Mendez, Joey Rodriguez, Iggie Rodriguez, Anthony Mendez, Halley Guardado and Matthew Rodriguez; sister, Cheryl Simpson and husband, John; brother, Harold Courson; friends, Joann Layden, Pat Sanders, Raymond Garza and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 12:30 PM, Monday, February 11, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel
