Vickie Lynn Jones' Obituary
Vickie Lynn Coomer Jones, born in Garland, TX, passed away after a courageous battle with a long illness on December 22, 2022, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX at the age of 68 years old.
Vickie is survived by her husband and best friend of 51 years, Terry W Jones. Her sister Leann Coomer. Her children: Staci Jones, Justin Jones and wife Tamara. Her grandchildren Tristin Jones and wife Bethany, Taylor Jones, Skylar Cunningham, Bailey Cunningham. Her great granddaughter Mckenna Jones. Her mother-in-law Dixie Jones Sager and her sister-in-law Kimberly Benzine Rowell. Additionally, she is survived by her nephews from the Jones, Benzine & Rowell families. Vickie is predeceased by her parents Betty Sue Myrick Coomer and Luther Joe Coomer, her grandparents Winnie and Leonard Myrick, brother-in-law Mark Jones and grandchildren Taylor and Tyler Jones.
Vickie was born on August 7, 1954, to Betty Sue Coomer and Luther Joe Coomer. While attending Plano High School she met Terry who she later married on April 2, 1971. Vickie and Terry proceeded to have 2 children over the coming years and built several successful companies. Vickie retired as co-owner of PC Specialties, Inc in 2012. Vickie was also a product purchasing technician (shopaholic) for top companies like Amazon and Zulily.
Vickie will be greatly missed by her husband, family, friends and all who knew her.
