Victor Paul Moossy's Obituary
MOOSSY, VICTOR PAUL, 67, passed away in his sleep on Thursday August 19, 2010. He was born on December 24, 1942, and was reared in Gladewater, Texas. He served in the US Military and attended Kilgore College, then graduated from North Texas State University where he was in Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity in the Epsilon Delta chapter. He lived in Dallas for over 40 years. His business career involved real estate, financial planning, and oil and gas. Victor was a devoted father to his two caring sons, Jared and Brandon. His love for his sons sustained him through his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Yazbek Moossy and Venus Massad Moossy. He is survived by his sons, and by his loving fiance, Stephanie Walters, as well as relatives and a close group of friends. Jared, Brandon, and Stephanie were by his side until his death. He will always be remembered as “The Moose.” A memorial will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 6306 Kenwood (s. of Mockingbird; off Abrams) on Wednesday August 25, 2010 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 1-800-227-2345, or Jonathan’s Place (helping young victims of abuse), Box 140085, Dallas, TX 75214, or to the charity of your choice.
