Victor Thompson Schlosser, II's Obituary
Schlosser, Victor T., II ~ Passed away peacefully on February 2, 2011, at the age of 80. He was born March 7, 1930, in Hagerstown, Maryland to Dr. Roger and Isabelle Schlosser. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Jones, Jane Henson, Sarah Ward and Susie Garver and a brother Roger “Buzz” Schlosser all of Hagerstown, Maryland. He is also preceded in death by his son, Victor T. “Trey” Schlosser, III. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lila Lee Schlosser; daughters, Lori Lee Schlosser, Lisa Lee Schlosser McGuire and her husband John; grandchildren, Brian McGuire, Ashley McGuire; sisters, Barbara Chambers of Hagerstown, Maryland, Bette Cochran and her husband Jim, of Devon, Pennsylvania; brother, Jack Schlosser and his wife Dorothy of Hagerstown, Maryland; as well has many nieces and nephews. He was in the Navy where he was a Gunners Mate Third Class on the USS Macon. After coming to Dallas, he became a member of Saint Michaels and All Angles Episcopal Church where he served as an usher for many years. He worked for Senco Fastening systems for 32 years. Upon retiring, he continued to stay active by driving limousines for Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Homes and Park Cities Limousines. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan never giving up on the “boys”. In his spare time he worked with his model trains and spent time with family and friends. He had such a caring and loving soul that he never met someone without calling them “friend”. He will be deeply missed by many.
