Vidya P. Hazarnis' Obituary
Vidya P Hazarnis, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend has passed peacefully this Thursday morning in a Dallas hospital after a lengthy illness.Born in Mumbai, India, Vidya married Prakash Hazarnis in Mumbai, India and they began their family with the birth of their daughter, Manasi.In the mid 1980’s, Prakash and Vidya moved to California to raise their family. Vidya worked in retail banking for Bank of America until her retirement in August of 2017.She is survived by her husband, Prakash; her daughter and son-in-law, Manasi and Parvez Mantry of Plano, Texas and her two grandchildren, Raheel and Soheyl.The family will have a private prayer service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Great Room at Restland on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 followed by the public Celebration of Vidya’s life in the Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM.
