Vieva Beatrice Williams' Obituary
In the wee hours of Monday, January 27, 2014, a sweet and gracious lady slipped from her earthly tether to ascend to the heavens. Vieva Beatrice Williams, born February 14, 1929 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughter of Dennis and Channie Lee McDaniel passed peacefully at home in Allen, Texas among family. She was preceded in death by her husband, MSgt. David Williams; her brother, Cecil McDaniel and both of her parents. She is survived by three brothers, Christopher McDaniel, Harold McDaniel, and Olatheaus McDaniel; two sisters, Lovetta Smith and DeLois Cullom, six children, Glenda J. Green, Patricia A. Womack, Derrell B. Williams, Aubrey K. Williams, David A. Williams, Andre W. Williams, sixteen grand children, and thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Family will receive friends on February 8, 2014 from 12pm to 2pm at Restland Funeral Home for last goodbyes and viewing. Services will be held immediately after at 2:30pm at Restland Memorial Chapel. Vieva, a member of the Far North Chapter #4, Order of the Eastern Stars, Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Alaska Jurisdiction and member of the Al Hejaz Court #3, Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine Prince Hall Consolidated, will be interred at the National Cemetery on February 14,2014 along with her husband, MSgt. David Williams, who will receive full military honors laying them both at final rest.
