Vincent Edward Davalos' Obituary
Vincent Edward Davalos – Dallas, TX
The man, the comedian, the highway star.
Vincent began his journey into his next life on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Vincent had an adventurous spirit. He loved riding his motorcycle around Dallas and, in his words, welcomed whatever mischief life had to offer. He was a true foodie who loved indulging in his favorite foods and snacks, whether it was a #1 combo meal from Griffs, a milkshake, fried pork chops, donuts, a bucket of buttery popcorn, a catfish basket, or even a box of Nerds candy. If he was eating, he was happy.
He wasn’t just a foodie; he was also quite the cook. Vincent loved cooking for those he cared about and, because he was particular about how he liked his food, he always made sure to ask everyone how they wanted their order before he started throwing it down in the kitchen.
Vincent was a movie buff. He often said, “My hair is going to take me to Hollywood,” and although that didn’t quite happen, it probably could have with his talent for memorizing lines and comedically holding conversations in movie quotes.
Much like his love for movies, Vincent had a deep love for music. His taste was broad, which made him great at giving recommendations and naturally put him in charge of the playlist.
Vincent was intelligent and curious, with a love for reading and continuous learning. His interests ranged from stargazing with his telescope, space matter, wildlife, organized societies, government, history, and playing chess. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and wisdom with others.
Above all, Vincent was a family man. He loved spending time with his family, whether it was watching sports, helping with yard work, or stopping by for a quick visit. He always had a good time, especially if it included some heckling and storytelling.
Vincent was multifaceted and always true to himself. He lived life his own way and never apologized for it. He was the life of the room; he carried the magical ability to uplift others and make those he loved feel truly seen.
Vincent is survived by his daughters, Maria Davalos, Cheyenne Davalos, and Daisy Davalos Morris; his parents, Daniel and Maria Davalos; his siblings, Daniel Davalos, Raquel Davalos Northcutt, Richard and Nancy Davalos, Jesse Davalos; and his eight nephews and seven nieces.
