Vincent "Jack" Lanning III's Obituary
Lanning III, Vincent “Jack”, was born June 28, 1929 in Plainfield, New Jersey and passed away November 18, 2012 in Plano, Texas. Jack attended Wake Forest University and graduated from Trinity University receiving a BS in Psychology. He retired from AT&T after 33 years as a District Manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. Jack is preceded in death by his father, Vincent John Lanning, Jr; and mother, Alice Adelia Joy Lanning. He is survived by his wonderful wife, Janie; sons, Larry, Colin, and Sean Lanning; daughter, Leslie Borges; four grand children; one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held on November 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3601 15th St., Plano, TX. 75075. The graveside service will be held at 1:15 PM at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5429 LBJ Freeway, Ste. 250 Dallas, TX. 75240, 214-351-2393.
