VINH VAN DANG's Obituary
Vinh Van Dang of Richardson, Texas passed away on June 19, 2021, he was 88 years old. He was born on November 11, 1932, in Hue, Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. He leaves behind many to cherish his memory; He was blessed in marriage to An Ha Chau for 62 years. Vinh also leaves behind their four children. Their oldest daughter and her family who are currently living in France; their son and his family of Richardson, Texas; another daughter and her family of Murphy, Texas; and their youngest daughter and her family of Richardson, Texas. He was also blessed with six grandchildren. Vinh was an oral surgeon by profession, but he was also an innovative creator. His contributions extended to inventing a movable dental machine and creating a cheap and durable artificial eye. Because of his efforts and contribution, he was awarded The National Order of Vietnam in 1974. As much as Vinh thrived in his ability to give to the medical community, he also received great joy in his family. He was a dutiful son to his parents, caring for them all through their lives. He also loved and deeply cared for his wife and children, always teaching by example. Vinh leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021, from 9:00am to 6:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 8:30am in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with a witness cremation immediately following.
