Viola Lucille Basinger Kimbrell's Obituary
Kimbrell, Viola Lucille ~ 84, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully on February 6, 2011. She was born on May 20, 1926 in Ft. Worth, Texas and is preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Kimbrell; parents George and Jessie May Basinger; sisters Helen White and Jessie Hart; and brother Marvin Basinger. She was a devoted member of St. David’s Episcopal Church for over 50 years, a member of St. Ann’s and served on the Alter Guild for over 40 years. She leaves behind her daughters Rebecca Kimbrell Richardson of Garland and Leslie Kimbrell of Rowlett; granddaughter Teryn Richardson Todd and husband Ryan; great-grandchildren Taylor, Jake, Tyson, and Zack Todd; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Until we meet again, we love you. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Garland, Texas with reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her precious church, St. David’s Episcopal Church at 2022 Saturn Rd. Garland, Texas 75041-1640.
