CLAYTON, VIOLET VIRGINIA born on September 4, 1925 in Ballews Chapel, AR and passed away August 4, 2007 in Dallas, TX. Violet is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Clayton; parents, Oscar and Mary Woodman; brothers, Dallas, Oscar, and Boyce Woodman; sisters Joyce Woodsman Foster and Cupid Rollins. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Clayton Withey and husband Quin, Mary Jane Turnbow and husband, Don; grandchildren, Mathew Clayton, Alexander and Rebekah Elizabeth Alexander. Violet enjoyed poetry, music, and roses. She attended the University of Arkansas and received a masters degree. She was a member of the Garden Club, and also the Fredonia Hill Baptist Church in Richardson, TX
