Ms. Virgie Anne Cromer, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Sunday, October 9, 1927, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Dick Kruse and Lena Wessels in Winters, Texas. Ms. Virgie Anne Cromer will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her. She was an active member of Lake Highlands Methodist Church and enjoyed living at Village of Lake Highlands meeting new friends and playing Mexican trivia! She loved playing “42” Dominoes, Bridge and engaged in numerous Bible studies. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Lena Wessels Kruse, her husband, Drew Cromer, and a brother Richard Kruse. She is survived by her son Stanley Cromer and wife Ethel, her daughter Diane Fisher and husband Sam, four grandchildren Ginny Simank, Liz Williams, Rhoads Fisher, and Stacy McCabe; 8 wonderful great-grandchildren, s3 sisters Dorothy Splawn, Florence Secrest, and Ruby Lucas, a brother Delbert Kruse, along with many nieces and nephews.
