Virginia Albee Brooks' Obituary
Virginia Albee Brooks, 96, peacefully passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at her apartment in McKinney, Texas. She was born May 6, 1919 in Knoxville, Pennsylvania to Allen and Beatrice Albee. In 1939 she married Harold Brooks and together they raised seven children while living as a military family in many locations around the world. Virginia is predeceased by her husband Harold and her daughter Marlene Yvonne Mills and Marlene’s husband David Clair Mills. Virginia is survived by her brother Hugh Albee, her daughters; Donna and husband Eddie Hess, Marianne and husband Edmond Elder; her sons Lee and wife Donna, Paul and wife Leigh, Hugh and wife Graciela, Jon and wife Dana; 19 grandchildren, David, Lori, Harold, Alicia, Amy, Michelle Assman, Sean, Michelle Huguley, Jason, Matt, Edmond, Christie, Kyle, Joey, Raul, Silvana, Monica, Paola, Maria; 39 great grandchildren and; 18 great-great grandchildren. The service for Virginia will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 12:00 pm in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
