Mrs. Burroughs was my mothers best friend and she was a great one! Mr. Burroughs, Glen, and their entire family stood by our family in good and bad times. Glen and Virginia travelled the world along with my parents and many other good friends but I remember most the mission trips they took together to build and repair churches, teach Bible Schools and to provide what was needed in church communities. My greatest memory of Mrs. Burroughs was when she prayed for me as I was going through a rough time in college. My mother told me that Virginia fervently prayed for me during that time and it changed my life! I am so grateful for Virginia and her sincere friendship to our family. We all know Virginia as an incredible Bible teacher, and she had such heart! She always wore a smile and brought such encouragement to others. Virginia was a pretty good tennis player too! I’m so privileged to have known Mrs Burroughs and their entire family. Wonderful people and very dear friends!
