Virginia S Efflandt's Obituary
Efflandt, Virginia Simpson, 85, passed away March 12, 2011 from Alzheimer’s. She was born to C. B. and Ethel Simpson on May 14, 1925. Predeceased by her mother and father; sister, Charlotte Sather and husband Herbert Efflandt. Virginia graduated from W. H. Adamson HS June 4, 1943. She went to work for SW Bell in July 1943 and retired in February 1983 after 39 years as accounting manager. On June 26, 1948 she married Herbert R. Efflandt. This year would have been their 63rd anniversary. Survivors include niece, Virginia Patterson, Phoenix, AZ; nephew, Dr. Tom Sather, Santa Rosa, CA and many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Anita & George DeShazo, and Fred and Betty Efflandt. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 3:00 in Restland Wildwood Chapel with Dr. Herb Pedersen officiating
