Virginia Elma Gentle's Obituary
Virginia Elma Yearwood Gentle was born on Sept. 17, 1932, in Jacksonville, Texas and passed away May 7, 2015 in Grapevine, Texas. She was 82. She will be remembered for her love of knitting, fashion sense and her generosity. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Forney Yearwood, and her brother, Harold Yearwood, and his wife Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bill Gentle; three children, Andra McBain and her partner, Leslie Linton, Greg Gentle and his wife, Judy, and Dana Beier, and her husband, Tom; eight grandchildren, Rich McBain, Maegan Spontak and her husband, Jeff, Rachel Johnson and her husband, Jim, Lindsey Gentle, Ashlynn Payne and her husband, Chris, Kate Gentle, Meredith Beier and Bethany Beier; and three great-grandchildren, Charlotte Spontak, James Johnson, and Remi Johnson. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
