Virginia Haynie's Obituary
Virginia Gates Haynie of Double Oak, 82, formerly of Dallas, and originally from Huntington, Texas, died August 22 at Texas Health/Presbyterian Hospital, Flower Mound. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth M. Haynie, parents, Davis B. Gates, and Stella Richardson Gates as well as eight brothers and sisters: Gladys L. Gates, Frederick C. Gates, D.B. Gates Jr., Beatrice Gates Gunter, T. Virgil Gates, Howard M. Gates, H. Bruce Gates, and John W. Gates. She is survived by her children Jeffrey d. Haynie of Double Oak, Tracy Haynie Jones of Flower Mound, K. Bruce Haynie of Shallowater, grandchildren Wesley Jones and Aaron Jones of Flower Mound, Matthew K. Haynie and Elleigh Virginia Haynie of Lubbock, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services to be held at Restland Wildwood Chapel Dallas, Texas Saturday August 27 at 12:30 pm.
