HINKLEY, VIRGINIA RENE (PERDUE), Born October 15, 1939 – Passed away June 30, 2008. Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Born in Longview, Texas. Graduate of Austin College and Texas Women’s University. Teacher to 100’s of Dallas area Children. Longtime member of Lake Highlands United Methodist Church and the Koinia Sunday School Class. Survived by: Loving Husband Franklin H. Hinkley; Sister Chaney Perdue Bennett; Daughter’s Etta E. Lewis and Robin K. Hernandez; Step-children Jim R. Hinkley, Linda A. Hinkley, and Jason A. Hinkley; Son-in-law’s Kirt A. Lewis and Maximo R. Hernandez; Daughter-in-law Dot Hinkley; Grandchildren Kimberly Hinkley-Bryson, Cristian P. Hinkley, Caitlin A. Taylor, Rhebecca R. Hernandez, Maximo A. Hernandez, Barrett I. Lewis, Sydney A. Lewis, and Dominic A. Hernandez. Preceded in death by her son Berry Jowell Rogers. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Sunday July 6, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Services to be held at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church on Monday July 7, 2008 at 3PM, with a Graveside Memorial at Restland Cemetery to follow. Reception to be held at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church following the Graveside Memorial.
