Virginia A. Howdeshell's Obituary
HOWDESHELL, VIRGINIA ARLETT born January 23, 1925 in Dallas, Texas, passed away December 11, 2013. She received degrees from SMU and UNT and was an elementary school teacher. As a teacher, she was beloved by her students. In later life oil painting became her passion and she belonged to a much loved art group. She was a treasured member of the UM Manor Garden Club. She was a lifelong lover of animals and animal rights, supporting endangered species conservation. She fiercely loved her daughters and grandchildren, always supporting their dreams and aspirations. She is survived by her daughters Rebecca (Becky) Howdeshell, Kathy Graves and husband, Richard, Judy Grizzaffi, Trudy Clear and husband Rick; grandchildren Ashley Grizzaffi, Megan Grizzaffi, Christie Graves and Nick Graves; cousin John Kinsel and wife, Gloria. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 16, 2013 at 3:00 PM in Restland Memorial Park.
