Virginia Faye Ivester's Obituary
Died November 1, 2009. She was born September 20, 1928 on her paternal grandparents’ ranch near Darrouzett, TX. She was a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church and a graduate of Classen High School in Oklahoma City , attended the University of Oklahoma and was a 60 plus year member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Her 28 year business career was shortened by disability prior to which she was a National Customer Service Manager in the Consumer Products Division for Borden, Inc. She is survived by her husband Loy Ivester; sons John Frow, Frisco, TX and Dr. David Frow, Alamosa, CO; step daughter, Pam Millington; grand-daughters Mrs. Dan (Julee) Guinipero, and Mrs. Derek (Jaime) Ferem; three great grandsons William, Jack and Dane; and two nieces. Memorial services will be Saturday, November 7, 2009 at noon in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Ave. South, New York, NY 10016-8804.
