Virginia Diane Lopez's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Virginia Diane Lopez, age 79, of Garland, Texas, she was born on January 20, 1947, in Forney, Texas, and went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia's life was a testament to love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She had a deep love for Christ, finding strength and comfort in her faith. Virginia found joy in baking for those she loved, spreading sweetness in every treat she made.
She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Jamason Pruitt, and daughter-in-law Kelly Jo Schlosser, her cherished grandchildren Mikie Pruitt, Cambrie Pruitt, Kaci Pruitt, and her adored great-grandchildren Wrenleigh Pruitt and Sawyer Pruitt.
She also leaves behind her dear grandchildren Joseph Jacobs and Katherine Jacobs, as well as Melanie Cockerham, William Cockerham, and Blake Cockerham, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
Virginia had a passion for wearing fun hats to celebrate every occasion and brought joy and laughter to all who knew hee She was one of a kind, and her generous spirit and warm heart touched everyone she met. Though Virginia may be gone from our fight, her love will remain forever in our hearts, and she will be remembered for her unwavering fish, her kind soul, and the joy she brought to our lives.
