Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Randol H. Marvin, her parents Mattie and Joe Freeman, her brother, J. C. Freeman and her grandson Justin. She is survived by her four daughters, Cheryl Cannon, Debbie Amerman and husband, Ted, Sheila Marvin, and Tammy Laurence and husband, Ed; grandchildren, Jack Cannon and wife, Jyl, Michael Amerman and wife, Jessica, Matthew Amerman, Dawn Walker and husband, Glen, Brandon de Villeneuve and wife Amanda, and Blake de Villeneuve; and great-grandchildren, Ashley Marie Walker, Natalie Marie Cannon, Adalyn de Villeneuve and Kenzi Amerman.
