Virginia (Gini) Page's Obituary
Mary Virginia (Gini) Page passed away on April 15th 2016. She had won the war against cancer but succumbed to other complications. Virginia was born on April 27, 1927 in Clarksburg WVA. She graduated High School there and after attending some college decided to move New York to pursue a modeling career. Her career also took her to Miami. Glamour didn’t run far from a modeling career to a job as a “stewardess” with American Airlines in 1953. It was there she met and married Alivin Samuel (Sam) Page who was a pilot for the airline. Her love for aviation led her to be active in the Dallas chapter of the national organization of retired “stewardess’s” called the Kiwi’s. She later worked for Southwest Airlines and the reorganized Braniff Airlines. She is survived by her brother Russell Folio, daughter Catherine Page Zidell and her husband Jeffrey, son John C Page and his wife Wanda and grandchildren Natalie Page and Dylan Page. A Memorial service for Virginia Page will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with a reception to follow immediately after the service.
