RUSSELL, VIRGINIA ANN (PHARR) born in Gatesville (Coryell County) Texas on November 13,1934 and passed away in Dallas Texas on April 10, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, John J Russell; mother, Frances Lillian Taylor; father, William Oran Pharr; and brother, Howard Pharr. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Donna Hurst (Garland/Waco); stepdaughter, Fran Troy (Garland); nephew, Brad Pharr (Austin); and niece, Melinda Pharr (Austin). A graduate of Waco High School, class of 1953, she married John Russell on September 9, 1981 and resided in Garland. A devoted wife and mother, Virginia was a talented artist and loved to travel. Vivacious and outgoing, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Please join us on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 2022 Saturn Road, Garland TX at 1:00 PM as we celebrate the life and memory of Virginia Russell.
