Virginia Marie Rogers' Obituary
Virginia Marie Rogers was born in Dallas, Texas, on November 6, 1929, and died at Life-Care Center of Plano on September 2, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Dallas, graduating from North Dallas High School, and from Southern Methodist University as Phi Beta Kappa. She retired after 43 years of employment from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as Editor of Publications.Virginia is survived by her sister Judy Smith and her husband Kenneth Smith of Tulsa Oklahoma, her aunt Mary Fitzgerald of Plano Texas, and by numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents A.J. (Jack) and Thelma Rogers, and by her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Jean Rogers.Interment will be at Restland Cemetery of Dallas Texas. Visitation will be at Restland on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The service of remembrance will be held in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland on Friday at 3:00 pm.
