Virginia "Ginny" Ann Stuit's Obituary
Virginia “Ginny” Ann Stuit passed away peacefully on Friday May 9,2025 with her family at her side. Born on August 3,1934, in Omaha, Nebraska Ginny spent the majority of her life in Mesquite Texas where she built a legacy of love, service and dedication.
Ginny was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished friend. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Vidler and her husband Wayne, daughter Mary Caruso and her husband Larry, son Mike Lemmer and his wife Nancy, daughter Laurie Anderson and her husband Mike. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Ginny believed in always giving back and was always involved in her community. She served with the Mesquite Citizens Police Academy Alumni Asso., Neighborhood Crime Watch, the Exchange Club of Mesquite, and held roles with Keep Mesquite Beautiful, Historic Mesquite and Mesquite Social Services. Her years with the Mesquite Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary were a source of pride and friendship.
Known for her heart and generosity, Ginny once asked in a newspaper interview, if she won the lottery, what would she do. Her answer was “I would build a mini city for children”, an answer that captured her caring spirit.
She will be forever loved and remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend who made time for all she loved and cared for.
Celebration of her life will be held Saturday May 24,2025 at 10:00, - Inspiration Church 1233 N. Beltline Rd. Mesquite 75149, Pastor Sam Pendyala officiating the service.
Visitation will be the night before from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm at Inspiration Church.
Interment will follow at 12:00pm in the Meditation Garden at Restland Cemetery 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas Tx.75243.
Reception will be hosted by the Mesquite Elks Ladies Auxiliary at 1:00 located at 4201 Gus Thompson Rd. Mesquite, Tx.75150, following the graveside service.
