Vivian Leola Brogdon's Obituary
Brogdon, Vivian Leola born July 28, 1922 in Independence, Missouri to Leslie and Bernice Skinner, and passed away August 17,2015 in Allen, Texas. Until her last day, Vivian claimed to have had the best life anyone could have ever wanted. She was known for her sharp wit and charisma. Throughout her life she exhibited her passion and talent for dancing. She was also a prolific and gifted needle-pointer and knitter, winning many ribbons at the Texas State Fair exhibits. Preceded in death by Theodore (Ted) Euless Brogdon, her husband and the love of her life, and Charles Morris Bernstein, her first husband and the father of her children. Survived by daughter Vicki Rae Bernstein Johnson, son Chuck Bernstein, and grandchildren Jesse Alan Killebrew, Trey Bernstein, and Rebekah Bernstein. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10:00AM at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dance USA (1111 16th Street NW Suite 300, Washington DC, 20036), or any other charity of your choice.
