Mrs. Vivian Rosa Griggs' Obituary
Vivian Rosa Beazley Griggs of Dallas, Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father on December 2, 2021 at 4:50 a.m.
Her beloved husband and her three loving children were by her side when she peacefully passed away.
Vivian was born to Woodford Raymond Beazley and Kate Ophelia Thomas Beazley on July 22, 1934, in Richmond, Virginia.
Vivian was married to Herman Carroll Griggs, her best friend, and the love of her life on March 14, 1953 at the Suffolk Christian Church in Suffolk, Virginia. They were married almost 69 years at the time of her passing.
She was a loving Mother of four, Grandmother of five, Great-Grandmother of six and. Great-Great-Grandmother of one.
She was a loving and kind woman, a great Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother. An amazing partner in life and wife to her husband Herman. Her husband and she loved to travel to Blue Grass festivals all over the United States. They loved Blue Grass Music, Square-Dancing and, she was an awesome Bridge player. We will remember her by her infectious laughter and telling silly jokes she could never remember the punchline to; her Husband Herman always had to finish the jokes.
Vivian is preceded in death by her Father, Woodford Raymond Beazley (passed 11/22/64); her Mother Kate Ophelia Thomas Beazley (passed 5/6/92); and, her precious son David Leroy Griggs (passed 9/26/57).
Vivian is survived by her loving husband, Herman Carroll Griggs.
Her Children: Son, Herman Carroll Griggs, Jr. (wife, Elizabeth); Daughter, Teresa Marie Griggs; Daughter Cynthia Michelle Griggs Graham (husband, Gary-deceased).
Her Grandchildren: Grandson, Herman "Trey" Carroll Griggs, III; Granddaughter, Adenna Michelle Valle; Granddaughter, Cheryl Angela Melton (husband, Joey); Grandson, Joshua David Valle (wife, Hailee); Grandson, Kyle Stephen Masters (wife, Kelsey)
Her Great-Grandchildren: Great-granddaughter, Breanna Michelle Walker; Great-Grandson, Eric Miguel Ferguson; Great-Grandson, Joshua "JP" Paul Valle; Great-Granddaughter, Audrey Evelyn Valle; Great-Granddaughter, Miranda Marie Masters; Great-Grandson, Kade Jole Masters; Great-Grandson, Liam Kyle Masters and, Her Great-Great Grandson, Connor Harless Bone
