Vivian Hill's Obituary
Vivian (Jay) Hill, 85 years of age, went to meet her Lord and Savior on April 13, 2016 She was born on October 31, 1930, in the country outside of Van Alstyne, Texas. In 1958, Vivian married the love of her life, John. This union lasted over 50 years. Together, they had one daughter, Vickie. In 1984, they became grandparents for the first time, and began their role as, “Grandma and Deke”. Vivian and John lived in Richardson for 52 years, and were devoted members of the Northrich Baptist Church for the same length of time. Vivian was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. V.O. Jay, and three older brothers, Paris, Almond, and Garnet Jay. She is survived by her daughter Vickie and son-in-law Dave Ryan; her grandson Cullen Ryan and wife Katie, her granddaughter Carter Forsong and husband Jesse; great grandchildren Johnny Ryan, Adeline Ryan, Payton Forsong and Charley Forsong; sisters; Evelyn Hammonds, Allene Whitehead, and Barbara Holder. She was so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vivian will also be missed by her many church friends and acquaintances. She will be remembered for her extra ordinary talent in gardening and her love for beautiful flowers. Vivian’s funeral service will take place at 12:30 pm, on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Northrich Baptist Church in Richardson, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, Garden of the Good Shepherd.
