Vivian Elaine Rood's Obituary
ROOD, VIVIAN ELAINE KELLER was born October 21, 1958, and entered into the Lord’s presence on February 17, 2014. A long-time resident of both Indianapolis, Indiana, and Columbia, South Carolina, Vivian moved to Dallas more than 3-1/2 years ago to be closer to her children in the North Texas area. A beloved, single mother of three, she is preceded in death by her brother, Frank, and her parents, Frank and Jean Keller. She is survived by her daughter, Cecile Fernandez, and her son-in-law, Lawrence; her son, Randy Newbery, Jr., her daughter-in-law, Karen, her grandson, Jordan; and her youngest son, Michael Rood, and family members, Anna and Kylie Kantorek. A memorial service will be held February 21, 2014, at 2:30 pm at the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
