My favorite memories with Nanny would have to be staying with her when my folks went on vacation...ice cold dill pickles,Colgate toothpaste, watching wrestling. Many trips to Mrs. Barnes for sodas and ice creams and Mrs Bairds on the corner. Later on Country Burger chili cheese burgers became customary.
Miss you Nanny. I still think about you often.
Vivian was a wonderful caregiver and she cared for both of my daughters for many years. She was a beautiful Christian. She is missed by many.

Tina I remember Vivian had a certain face she made if she approved of something a child had done , she would put her lips together a certain way tilt her head and have a little smile on her face. I know she is happy being with her Mom Melvin, Ray and Melivee, Bobby .Lucian,and Susie .I don't think I left anyone out . I am so sorry that you lost your Grandmother , I can only hope that my Grand kids will have good memories of me ,like you do for Vivian . that is the best tribute anyone can give or get.
