Marilyn, am so sorry for your loss. Am remembering early days at FUMC in Richardson when our girls were small and their first day of school at Richardson Heights–still have a picture of them, standing on our front porch with big sweet smiles. We never met Walter but your life with him sounds blessed.

Walter was a great and dedicated fellow employee at KRLD/KDFW back in the 70’s. Walter was the reporter on the very first news story I photographed professionally: Jack Ruby’s Sanity Hearing at the Dallas County Courthouse. He was a great guide and mentor for this very young and inexperienced young man. He is also one of the men I knew from that era as a true journalist with reporting without bias but full of accuracy and authentication. What a Pro!! Great memories>
I have known Walter since we were teenagers, and I can tell you that he was always the nice guy we all knew and loved.
