Walter Jackson Hunsucker's Obituary
Jack was born on December 27, 1922 in Navasota, Texas, and passed away on January 20, 2015 in Plano, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hunsucker; parents, May Lillian Hunsucker and Walter Jackson Hunsucker, Sr.; young daughter, Frances Hunsucker; sisters, Frances Granger and Elizabeth Moore. Jack is survived by his daughter, Janie Glover; son in-law, DeWayne Glover; granddaughters, Debi Means (Michael) and Julie Hobert; great grandchildren, Samantha, Bradley, Emily and Abigail; brother, William Hunsucker (Pat); nieces, great nieces and nephews, along with many friends. Jack owned Jackson Distributing Company which he ran with his wife for over 20 years. He was very active in his church, Mesquite Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and played a leadership role, along with his wife. The funeral service for Jack will be at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mesquite Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 819 N. Town East Blvd., Mesquite, Texas 75150- 4741.
