Walter Robert Monk, Sr., Was born to Bud and Edna Monk on February 26, 1935 in Centerville, Texas. He passed away in Crossroads, Texas on December 4, 2009 at the age of 74. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wilma Read Obituary
I havent been around the family much im David monks daughter . Im very sorry to hear this has happen to Walter….I remember all the rodeo times at the ranch them were the good ol days … sorry me and my family couldnt make it to the funral… god bless you all ……

my father , ray c. jones, thought highly of walter as did i because of him. my father passed away december 4, 2007. they will both be missed and thought of fondly. terry driggers

I'm sorry that I just now found out about Dub's passing. He was such a wonderful man. I know how much he was loved and admired. To Wilma, Gary, Walter & Karen, my heart goes out to you. I will always remember his smile, blue eyes and friendly nature. Debbie
