Walter Ray Schattle's Obituary
SCHATTLE, WALTER RAY, passed away on July 1, 2012 in Richardson, TX at the age of 81. Born in Cameron, TX, retired USAF. He is preceded in death by five brothers and one sister, as well as two sons-in- law, Dennis Lemons and Shawn Wellott and one grandchild, Mason Schattle. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nita Blair Schattle; children, Monica Peelman, Paul Schattle, Steve Schattle, Kathy Wellott, Tracy Woolverton, Phil Schattle, Chris Schattle, Jeff Schattle, and Tony Schattle, their spouses, 34 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren all of the DFW area. He is also survived by one sister, Ethel Fillmore of Benbrook, TX. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, July 5, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church 5231 Meadow Creek Dr. Dallas, TX 75248. Burial will be held at DFW National, Thursday July 5,2012 at 2:15 pm.. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, www.alz.org team name Grandys Angels.
