Walter Tibbles' Obituary
TIBBLES, WATER was born on December 19, 1921 to Clifton and Jennie Tibbles in Hastings, NE. Mr. Tibbles passed away on August 17, 2014 in Mesquite, TX. Mr. Tibbles was preceded by his father, Clifton Tibbles; mother, Jennie Tibbles; sister, Helen Meester and brother, Melville Tibbles. He is survived by wife, Iva Tibbles; sons, Tom Tibbles and Larry Busby; daughters, Debra Brosius, Brenda Watson, Nancy Tarrant, Peggy Byerly and Sheila Doan; nephew, Bob Meester; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mr. Tibbles was a WW II Veteran having served with the Army in New Guinea, the Philippines and Korea. Mr. Tibbles was a member of the Athens Amateur Radio Club, the Quater Century Wireless Assn., and a life member of the VFW. Visitaion will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service wil be at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2014 at DFW National Cemetery.
