Waltina Shields' Obituary
SHIELDS, WALTINA “TINA” PLUNKETT Born on November 1, 1914 in Hillsboro, TX and passed away on January 20, 2007 in Dallas, TX. She lived in Texas all her life and raised a wonderful family. She was very active in the Presbyterian church. Her husbands, family, and church were very important to her. She and husband Ralph were active travelers and spent a lot of time in Buena Vista,Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husbands Ralph James Shields of 32 years, and Ivan Plunkett of 29 years. She is survived by daughter Gail Christopher, sons, Wayne Plunkett and wife Connie, Jack Plunkett and wife Martha, grandchildren Sonya Davidson, Jack Plunkett Jr., Altus Plunkett, Robert Plunkett and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church of Dallas, TX.
