Wanda Faye Cason's Obituary
Born February 25, 1943 in Cumby, Texas and passed away June 13, 2015 in Sunnyvale, Texas. Wanda was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #507 since 2005 where she served in various board positions over the years. Wanda was a retired employee of the Safeway Co. and a longtime member of the Meatpackers of America Association. Wanda was preceded in death by her loving parents Melvin and Dorothy Holder, and sister Dollie Swafford. Wanda is survived by her sister Kathy Bedingfield and husband Thomas Bedingfield of Rockwall, TX, son Tony L. Cason of Dallas TX, daughter Denise Cobb and husband Eddie Cobb of Garland TX, daughter Brandie Maqueda and husband Juan Maqueda Sr. of California. Grandchildren Bryan Oney and wife Maggie of Rockwall, TX, Krystal Cobb of Garland, TX, Preston and wife Breanna of Garland, TX, Karina and Juan Maqueda Jr. of California. Great grandchildren Carson Oney of Rockwall, TX, Kaleb Cobb of Garland, TX, Prescott Cobb of Garland,TX, Parker Oney of Rockwall, TX and Summer Cobb of Garland, TX. Cherished pet Buddy of Dallas, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Shiloh Road Baptist Church 4105 Ashwood, Mesquite Texas 75150.
