I met Wanda at JC Penney when I worked part-time in the catalog dept. at Casa View a couple of years at Christmas time. She was a wonderful, helpful co-worker. Many years later I found that my good friend, Barbara Gunn, knew her well. I was so fortunate to be invited to attend the JCP get-togethers with the group. I have many fond memories of Wanda. Last time we were together I thought she was the same pretty person I knew many years ago. Clara Winkler

Wanda "Lee" was always one of my favorite ladies. We worked a lot of years at JC Penney and she always handled herself well under sometimes difficult circumstances. I enjoyed being friends and talking to her and Jack. My sincere condolances to Jack and family. She will be missed. Ron Love

Wanda was my mother-in-law. I am one of the rare people in the world who loved their mother-in-law, but who wouldn't have loved Wanda? She dripped with honey! She exemplified the fruits of the spirit in every way. She was loving, always smiled, (joyful) the peacemaker between her 3 sons…. longsuffering and patient in situations she endured that couldn't be helped by her, gentle to everybody she met, good morally in her life, had a strong faith in our Lord praying for her boys and their families often, and was self controlled in her working with the public at JC Penny's catalog department and with her own family. She had a heart of gold and her 3 sons inherited this trait from her. She made them the awesome men they were/are today! She was an example to me and I only hope I will be half the mother-in-law to my children's spouses one day that she was to me. I loved her very, very much and miss her already. I am thankful that this is not a final goodbye and we will meet again in Heaven. Deanna Daniel
