I met Wanda around 1982 when I went to work for the H.B. Hughes Co. She was always so helpful and kind to me as i was getting started. A few years later after we had started Bob Wood and Associates she was able to join us. She was such a blessing to our company , helping all of us each day and every day. She was always a team player helping us with what ever needed to be done. She was one of the nicest persons anyone could ever meet. I know she was very faithful to her family and her church family as well.
I am sad for your family's loss but we can all take heart in that she has gone to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I am sure she was able to hear these words: Well Done Good and Faithful Servant!

I met Wanda on my first trip to Dallas after meeting my future husband,Bob Wood, in March of 1973. I met Wanda at the H.B.Hughes Company’s annual picnic. Wanda was Treasurer of HBH and had known Bob since he worked in the HBH warehouse during college. They continued to work together until April, 1985, when Bob resigned and he and his partners started Bob Wood and Associates. Two years later, Wanda resigned from HBH and came onboard our company as Bob’s administrative assistant. She had the perfect personality to run the office…he trusted her completely. She kept up with technology and initially was more willing to use computers than the sales staff. After Bob passed away, she kept the office running while we adjusted to the reality of the company’s future. Everyone who ever dealt with Wanda loved and respected her. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
