Mrs. Wanda Lea Lorenz's Obituary
Wanda L Lorenz was born on September 16, 1942 in McAllen, Texas and passed away on August 25, 2014 in Plano, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lorenz. Wanda is survived by Rose Belden, and her son Steven, precious cat-Pandora and many close friends. She was recognized in her profession, Trailblazer and CPA for thirty five years at Lane Gorman Trubitt, with ten of those years being the managing partner. Throughout her successful career Wanda held numerous board positions within the AICPA and TSCPA. After her retirement, she remained an inspiration to others as she continued to support Girls Inc, Altrusa and many other women’s service organizations in the DFW area. A memorial service for Wanda will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Wanda’s memory to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Association, church and or charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
