Wanda Eugene (Reeder) Marney's Obituary
Ms. Wanda Eugene (Reeder) Marney, age 95, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born to John Reeder and Mary Pearl Bookout on December 8, 1926 in Maud, Texas. Wanda leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Woodrow Marney; parents, John Reeder and Mary Pearl Bookout Reeder Burgess; daughter, Cheryl Howard; sons, Monty Wade Gordon, Rickey Gordon; grandson, Kevin Belcher, granddaughter Georgianna Stroman; siblings, Mable Cherry, Russell Reeder, Bonnie McAnally, Clarence Burgess, Johnnie Chavez and Leslie Reeder.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Wall, Montel Ridge, Monty Leslie Gordon, Morgan Gordon, Jimmy Gordon, Sean Gordon, Ashley Gordon, Aaron Gordon; 18 great-grandchildren, 9- great-great grandchildren; sister Shelia Gaddis and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family will begin to welcome friends for visitation on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 9:00-10:00am at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 10:00am in the Memorial Chapel. Wanda will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in Court of Veterans IV.
