Wanda LaVerne Richards' Obituary
Wanda LaVerne Richards, 76, went to be with our Heavenly Father suddenly Friday, September 15, 2023. LaVerne was born August 21, 1947 to Tommie and Dorothy Price. Married to James Richards on July, 9, 1965 and her family was increased to include two sons, Steven Richards, Jeffrey Richards, and daughter Stacey Richards. They celebrated 58 years together. Also to include are, sister, Sharon Enberg, step sisters, Charlotte Tucker, Johnnie Forrest, Sandra Aguda, Donna Cowan, Linnie Lewis. Grandchildren Timothy, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Lincoln, Nathan, Cooper, and Presley. Great grandchildren Ryliegh, Noah, Atreus, and Sawyer. LaVerne was preceded in death by her father, Tommie Price, and two granddaughters, Jessica, and Lacey. Along with many extended family and friends. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a friend to many who will dearly miss her. The service to celebrate the life of Wanda LaVerne Richards will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 at Restland Funeral Home.
